Parasailing Frequently Asked Questions

What is Parasailing?
When parasailing, one rides under a parachute that is being towed by a speedboat.  There is very little physical effort involved – you mostly need to enjoy the incredible views from up to 1000 feet in the air!  Both the launch and landing are done from the back of the specialized parasailing boat so there’s no need to take a swim (though you may get a little wet from spray and dipping if you choose too!)

Is parasailing dangerous?
Hundreds of thousands of parasailing flights are done all around the country every year safely. The biggest risks come from operating in unsafe weather or sea conditions combined with poorly maintained equipment. Like all parasailing operators, we monitor weather and sea conditions hourly by both Internet and radar and have strict rules about when to suspend operations, and all of our equipment is fully inspected and logged at the start of each day. Our captains have tons of parasailing experience along with 75,000 parasailing flights under his belt without a single injury.
